設問は「ここに１８人子どもがいる １日３人ずつ殺すと…答えは」
非常識ですね。
セプティマス・ウィナーというアメリカ人が、１８６８年につくった「１０人のインディアン」を連想した人も多いのではないでしょうか。
アイルランドの子守歌のメロディーだそうで、マザーグースとは関係なさそうです。こ なお、この童話は歌詞が２通りありますが「まし」な方を記載します。

自宅に帰ったり、眠ったり、結婚したりしていなくなるというのは幸せでしょうが、その他に、あまり「ろくなもの」はないですね。
ただ「結婚」が、「最悪」と考える人もいるでしょうね。
「そして誰もいなくなった」というアガサ・クリスティの推理小説を連想する方もいるでしょう。
孤島（英国デヴォン州のインディアン島）から出られなくなった１０人が１人ずつ殺されていくというストーリーでした。
種をあかすというのも「野暮」ですが、殺されたはずの元判事が、実は生きていて、他の９人を殺して自殺するというストーリーです。殺された９人は、いずれも法律で裁かれない殺人をしていて、それらを集めて、一人ずつ殺していく計画を実行したとされています。
どうして、殺人罪を犯していたとわかったのかは「わかりません」。
